Welcome to the East-West Cultural and Educational Center, a dynamic non-profit organization nestled in Pikesville, Maryland. Established in August 2007, our center enriches the community through a vibrant tapestry of cultural events, academic programs, and enriching activities.

Diversity thrives at East-West, with students, families, and teachers from across the globe, including the USA, Russia, Ukraine, Israel, Belarus, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, China, and parts of Africa. Our programs cater to a wide spectrum of ages and interests, starting from toddlers participating alongside their parents, through kindergarten, elementary, and adult education.

We pride ourselves on our inclusive approach, welcoming individuals from all backgrounds, including recent refugees from Ukraine and Russia. Our expansive array of offerings includes language classes (Russian, Ukrainian, Hebrew, Chinese, Spanish), robotics, folk dances, and yoga, designed to inspire and educate.

For adults, we offer engaging social events such as disco parties, concerts, and psychological training sessions. Additionally, our center hosts art master classes, fitness sessions (including yoga and pilates), and a variety of dance classes suitable for both kids and adults.

The Center is renowned for its exceptional Mathematics program, setting a benchmark in the region’s educational landscape. We also host esteemed classical and popular musicians, enriching our cultural calendar with memorable performances.

Our school operates as a non-profit immersion program, providing challenging academic, artistic, and extracurricular programs tailored to meet the needs of each student. Students can explore multiple levels of languages, math, science, art, history, and geography, along with creativity-building classes in crafting, puppetry, theater, eidetic memory techniques, and various dance forms.
