Get ready for an evening packed with culture, conversation, and dazzling fun at the East-West Cultural and Educational Center on Saturday, August 16, 2025! We’re excited to bring you two fantastic events, back-to-back, for an unforgettable night:

7:00 PM – 9:00 PM: World Languages Café

Start your evening by immersing yourself in engaging conversation at our vibrant World Languages Café! This is a fantastic opportunity to:

• Practice a language you know or are currently learning.
• Boost your fluency by speaking and listening in a relaxed setting.
• Meet new friends who share a passion for diverse cultures.
• Pick up useful travel phrases for your next adventure.
• Reconnect with your childhood language in a supportive atmosphere.

Simply choose a language room and jump right into the conversation! Our rooms are thoughtfully hosted by native or fluent speakers who will facilitate lively discussions. We’ll be featuring tables for English, Russian, and Spanish, with plans to introduce even more languages in future events!

Registration is preferred but not required to help us prepare. Feel free to bring your favorite food and beverages, and if you’re feeling generous, share delicious treats from your culture with your table!

9:00 PM – 11:59 PM: Disco Party!

Once you’ve expanded your linguistic horizons, it’s time to hit the dance floor! Our Disco Party kicks off right after the Language Café. Get ready to boogie down to some groovy tunes in a fun, vibrant, and safe atmosphere. Whether you’re a seasoned disco king/queen or just learning the ropes, our on-site choreographer will be there to help you master basic moves and get you grooving!

It’s the perfect way to unwind, have an absolute blast, and make new connections. We’ll have light refreshments available, and you are welcome to BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverage) to enjoy responsibly and share with friends.
